The Kano State House of Assembly has approved the N20 billion loan facility being sought by the State Government.
The loan is to be accessed from a commercial bank to complete work ongoing infrastructure projects in the State.
Leading the debate, Majority Leader of the Assembly said the loan is repayable in 20 months at 9 percent interest rate.

Meanwhile, the Assembly also resolved to pardon and reinstate 5 members suspended on March 16 following their opposition to a motion that was to be moved on March 9 on the removal of former Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi.
The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has earlier voided the suspension and ordered their reinstatement.
