The Kano State Police Commissioner, Samaila Dikko, has said that reforming the police to ensure adequate welfare of it’s personnel, will help address the rising insecurity in the country.
CP Samaila Dikko, said this during his tour to some area commands to ascertain the level of policing in the areas.
The officer who was recently deployed to Kano state believes that police reforms with empty belly will escalate insecurity .
He said that to tackle the issue of manpower in the force in Kano state, more special constabulary officers have been deployed.

Most of the communities had complained of shortage of police manpower and patrol vehicles while pledging their maximum supports and cooperation to the Force in the Fight against crimes.
