Traders affected by the Kano State Government demolitions have held a special prayer session at the Eid Prayer Ground against the government’s policy in the state.
They converged on the demolished site, situated at Kofar Mata Eid Ground, for their two ra’akat prayers.

They say seeking divine intervention is one of the measures they consider as a relief from the incident.
No less than three thousand shops and one thousand five hundred containers were demolished at the site.
