With the ban on Sallah durbar and other festivities in the state by the commissioner of Police Mohamemd Gumel unilaterally, the state government says the action is one taken against the interest of the people of Kano state.
While the state government stands its ground that some persons are giving orders from behind against the state, the commissioner calls on residents to maintain law and order before, during and after the salah period.
