To sustain the fight against corruption in the state, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has sworn in a new Chairman of the state’s Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission following the expiration of the tenure of the Muyi Magaji led administration.
At the swearing-in ceremony of the new chairman Sa’idu Yahaya and three special advisers, Governor Yusuf charged the appointees to uphold the principles of transparency, accountability and fairness in the discharge of their duties.
With the expiration of the tenure of the former state anti corruption commission’s chairman Mhuyi Magaji, governor Abba Yusuf has sworn in a new chairman, Sa’idu Yahaya following his successful screening and confirmation by the state house of assembly, alongside three special advisers.
Governor Yusuf particularly chargeed Sa’idu Yahaya to justify the confidence reposed in him, especially staying neutral in the discharge of his duties devoid of controversies.
The governor appreciates the former chairman, Muyi Magaji describing as a dogged anti corruption fighter.
To the special advisers, Yusuf wants them to support government policies and programmes, as well contribute towards ensuring good governance in the areas they are deployed to serve.
