Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has flagged off a total of seventy kilometer road projects across ten communities in the three senatorial districts of the state.
Governor Yusuf says the project is in fulfillment of his campaign promise to the people, aimed at creating access to rural communities for socio-economic development
The flag off ceremony of about ten rural communities took place at Rijiyar Gwangwan and Mil Goma in Dawakin Kudu Local Government area of Kano State.
Governor Abba Yusuf stated that the dimension of the project which is to be executed in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank and “Live the Livelihood Fund”
It was also an opportunity for Governor Yusuf to highlight some other projects being executed by his administration in the past one year in office
These rural roads when completed will create access to the urban areas and facilitate the movement of farm produce to the market and improve the state’s economy
