Governor Yusuf made the pledge while empowering 2000 Persons With various forms of Disabilities in Kano.
Two thousand people living with various forms of disabilities across the forty-four local Government Areas of Kano state received empowerment to the tune of twenty thousand naira each to enable them commence new petty businesses or strengthen existing ones.
Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf at the flag off distribution says, people living with disabilities contributed significantly to his victory during the governorship election, promising to take their welfare seriously.
Earlier, Commissioner for Women, children and the disabled, Aisah Saji, wants the beneficiaries to take the scheme seriously and make the best out of it.
