Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has disbursed a community revolving fund grant of forty eight million naira each to ten communities in the state for smart agricultural and value chain development practices.
The aim is to strengthen climate resilience and boost agricultural investments in the area of production and packaging.
Smart agricultural practices are a set of techniques that help farmers increase productivity, reduce environmental impact adaptable to climate change.
Kano state governor Abba Yusuf is flagging off the disbursement of twenty five thousand dollars each to ten communities, made up of farmers arranged in clusters, an initiative made possible by the state’s Agro-Climatic Resilience In Semi-Arid Landscapes.

The project, which is implemented by ACReSAL kANO, has funding support from the World Bank, targeting rural farmers with the aim of improving livelihood.
