Ahead of Saturday’s scheduled senate constitutional public hearing in the state, the Kano State Government has convened a multi-stakeholder dialogue session, to harmonize the state’s position to be presented at the hearing.
Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf who addressed key players at the coronation hall of the government house, said the session is to ensure inclusivity of opinion across political pluralities and interest groups.
Key players, cutting across the political class from the local, state and national levels, the academia, members of the business community, organized labor, women groups, civil societies, community based and professional bodies, have come to listen to the position points being harmonized by the Kano state government, ahead of Saturday’s senate zonal public hearing for the proposed constitutional amendment.
