Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf says he is committed to investing in rural communities, especially providing critical infrastructures that would improve the socio-economic status of the people.
The Governor who said this while commissioning some township road projects in Ghari Local Government Area of Kano State wants the people to remain committed to his administration.
In the past few weeks, governor Abba Yusuf has been engaged in either flagging off of new projects, inspecting existing ones or commissioning completed projects, mostly roads in rural communities across the state.
This time, Governor Abba Yusuf was at Yandadi community in Ghari Local Government area to commission some completed rural roads, noting that the socio-economic lives of the people will be greatly impacted upon.
There was great sigh of relief as the governor promised to embark on other social infrastructural projects within the local government in fulfillment of his campaign promise.
The Kano State governor believes that by opening access roads to rural communities, and providing essential social services to the people, rural- urban migration will be greatly reduced and the local economy improved.
