Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf

Four weeks after he visited Albasu Local Government Area to supervise ongoing rural projects, Kano state governor Abba Yusuf has returned to Albasu where he commissioned a rural road and solar street light.

Governor Abba Yusuf who promised more dividends to the people, harps on collaboration from the people by way of protecting public infrastructures in local communities.

It was an atmosphere of jubilation in Albasu Local Government Area of Kano by the young and old, as Governor Abba Yusuf storms the local government, after his September visit where he promises a return to the local government.

One month later, the people turned out in large numbers to receive their governor Abba Yusuf, who was there to commission the completed solar powered streetlights and other rural infrastructures.

The governor promises more projects for the people, especially the completion of some abandoned sections by contractors.

Governor Abba Yusuf emphasises the need for a community driven approach towards protecting public infrastructures and securing government’s investment.

Over the past eight months, governor Abba Yusuf has been going round rural communities, engaged in either flagging off new projects, inspecting ongoing ones or commissioning completed ones in line with his campaign promises.
