Hundreds of Kano residents have besieged the Regional office of the National Identity Management Commission, NIMC in the state, in a bid to registered and obtain a National Identity Number.
And to avoid being duped, the Kano Regional Coordinator of the commission, Lawal Yahaya, has warned the residents to beware of Extortionists, as the process is free.
Yahaya also said that, more gadgets will soon arrive to Fastrack the registration process due to the large crowd.
Some of the residents had told ait.live that the process was hectic due to inadequate manpower, as others looked frustrated.

With few weeks to go, residents of the state say they will maximize the time frame and get registered, to avoid being disconnected from their mobile networks.
