Tens of thousands of Muslim faithful turned out in their numbers to observe the Edi prayer at the popular Kofar Mata open ground, where Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, led top government functionaries, together with the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero to observe the traditional Edi prayer.

Governor Abba Yusuf who thereafter held a state wide broadcast in his office where he addressed citizens and residents of the state, assured the people of better days of massive infrastructural turnaround across the state.
