The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar has applauded the Kano State government for providing support to the security agencies in the state which he said has strengthened the operational mandate of the Air Force in particular.
Air Vice Marshal Hassan who gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy call on governor Abba Yusuf at the Government house Kano, said the governor’s efforts have made the state the most secured in northern Nigeria.
The chief of Air Staff said he was pleased with the governor’s extension of some basic social amenities to the Airforce Base Kano.
Pleased with his elevation as an illustrious son from Kano state, Governor Abba Yusuf appealed to the Chief of Air staff to consider increasing the slots for Kano state indigenes seeking recruitment into the Nigeria Airforce.
As part of his visits, the Airforce chief also inspected the construction of the military airport commandant’s office and other facilities at the NAF formations in Kano.
