Kano State Government in North west Nigeria says it is stepping up efforts to reduce the burden of Tuberculosis, TB with increased access to treatment for patients
Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran who made the commitment says officials have been able to identify and treat 93% of the active TB cases.
Kano State is currently ranked number six among high risk states with 39,420 cases recorded in the 2022 TB burden national data.
