The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 204 new Coronavirus cases in the country with Kano State having the single highest number of daily infections
With 80 new cases taking the number of confirmed cases in Kano to 219, the state now has the second highest number of infections nationwide overtaking the Federal Capital Territory which now has 178
Meanwhile, the confirmed number of Coronavirus cases in Lagos State has jumped to 1,011.
NCDC confirms 80 new cases in Kano, Lagos-45, Gombe-12, Bauchi and Sokoto-9 each: Borno and Edo-7 each
The others are 6 each in Rivers and Ogun, 4 each in FCT, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa, 3 in Kaduna, Oyo, Delta and Nasarawa with 1each in Ondo and Kebbi.
There are 7 new Coronavirus deaths takes the total death toll to 58 with the total number of discharged patients now 319.
