Kano State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, in collaboration with Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria, PLANE, has organised a six-day intensive capacity-building programme for English Language teachers. The training is aimed at strengthening teaching quality and improving English language proficiency across Kano State.
The training programme is part of ongoing efforts to drive effective implementation of the National Policy on Education, while exposing teachers to modern instructional strategies that enhance classroom delivery and learner outcomes.
The training had 484 English Language teachers who were drawn from 115 pilot primary schools across Kano State.
SUBEB Executive Secretary represented by the Director of Corporate Communications, Balarabe Danlami said the training was designed to improve classroom practice and pupils performance.
The programme represents a significant step in Kano State Government’s efforts to improve the quality of Basic Education and ensure better learning outcomes for pupils statewide
