The Police in Katsina State have arrested 2 rape suspects 20-year-old Faisal Lawal and his accomplice, Abba Nasiru of Kakumi village of Bakori Area Council of Katsina state, two months after they allegedly raped and killed their neighbour’s wife, 27-year-old Ummulkhair Yunusa.

Spokesman of the Police Command Supretendent Gambo Isah said the incident happened during this year’s Ramadan fast.

He said the two suspects will be charged with rape and culpable homicide.

According to Isah, the suspects on the 11th of May, 2020 at about 1:am scaled the fence of the house of one Yunusa Adamu, entered his house and forcefully had carnal knowledge of his wife while he was away.
