The Katsina Emirate Council has lost one of its 4 kingmakers and Kauran Katsina and district head of Rimi, Nuhu Abdulkadir.
The traditional ruler died at his residence in Rimi Local Government Area of the State following a brief illness.
Until his death, he was the Chairman, katsina Emirate of kingmakers.
A member of the family, Aminu Abdulkadir, who confirmed the news to AIT said, the traditional ruler died in the early hours of Tuesday and will be buried by 2:pm according to Islamic rites.
‘Hakimin Rimi’, the district head of Rimi, was among the 4 kingmakers of the Katsina Emirate Council who recently celebrated his 40th anniversary on the throne of Rimi.
Tributes have however continued to pour in mourning of his death from families, friends and other well wishers.
