Motorists in Katsina State say, they are beginning to see a significant improvement in the hours spent to get fuel from petrol filling stations.
They also added that, compared to what it was in the last 2 weeks, the queues are gradually disappearing.

In the past weeks, the country woke up to another era of long queues at the filling stations, this time, not because of the scarcity of the product, but due to adulterated products supplied.
The situation in Katsina was not different, as motorists queued up at different filling stations, wasting productive hours to purchase petrol.
One of the consumers Shamsu Bishir said, the NNPC filling stations sell at government-approved prices of 162 Naira per litre.
He reasons that the outlet is witnessing longer queues compared to others who sell for between 180 to 200 Naira per litre.
He added that compared to the last two weeks and the beginning of the issue, there is a significant improvement, especially in the reduction of the queues.
Katsina state Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Abbas Hamza, confirmed the reduction in the queues, due to the increasing supply, and other strategies put in place by the body.
He also said the increase in pump price is a result of the shortage witnessed in the adulterated product by marketers.
Hamza, therefore, called on the government to ensure they involve all the relevant stakeholders in the petroleum sector, to avert future occurrence of the adulteration of products.
