Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari says, there is the need for state governors in the North of the country to work together, to fight the prevailing insecurity bedeviling the region.

Governor Masari made the comment in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital during the commissioning of the Zamfara State House of Assembly Complex, part of activities to mark the second year of Zamfara Governor Bello Mohammed’s administration.

Governor Masari said, no state can fight insecurity alone, but with the strong collaboration of Kaduna, Katsina, Niger, Zamfara and other affected states, they can stem the tide of violent crime in the region.

Masari lamented that banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling, killing and maiming are not what the people of Northern Nigeria are about.
