Katsina state government has lifted the ban on mobile telecommunications network service in the 13 frontline Local Government Areas of the state.
Recall that the state government directed that the ban should take effect on September 10, 2021 as part of measures to contain insecurity.
The Frontline local government areas are: Sabuwa, Faskari, Dandume, Batsari, Danmusa, Kankara, Jibia, Safana, Dutsin-Ma and Kurfi, Funtua, Bakori and Malumfashi.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on security matters, Ibrahim Katsina while announcing the move attributed the u banning of Telecommunication service to the relative peace in the areas.
The move is coming less than 24 hours after the Government partially reviewed the order banning sales of ruminants in all the markets across the state.
