The Katsina State government has directed the reopening of all female boarding secondary schools across the state, from Wednesday, March 24.
A statement by the Commissioner for Education, Professor Badamasi Lawal said the schools are to operate based on the day-school system, adding that the girls are to go to schools close to their locations of residence, on the date of resumption.

Similarly, the government has directed Sunday March 28 for the reopening of the following boarding schools:
Government Unity Secondary School, Malumfashi.
Sir Usman Nagogo College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, SUNCAIS, Katsina, Government Girls Secondary School, Dutsin Safe, Katsina, Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma, Government School for the Deaf Malumfashi
Government School for the Blind Katsina, on Sunday, March 28, for the continuation of the 2020/2021 academic session.
