Police in Katsina say they have succeeded in arresting 3 teenagers for abducting a 6 year old girl from Kano and demanding two million naira ransom for her release.
State Command Spokesperson, Superintendent Gambo Isah in a statement said the trio were arrested based on credible intelligence.
Isah said luck ran out on the gang after they kidnapped the toddler who is a cousin of the mastermind of the abduction.

He said upon receiving information, detectives swung into action and the prime suspect described as Aliyu Salisu alias “Chilo”was caught in the process of receiving the ransom payment.
The Police Spokesperson also said during investigation, other members of the gang were also arrested and the victim rescued unhurt.
