The Ruling all Progressives Congress, APC, in Katsina State has flagged off campaign and presented flags to its 34 standard bearers ahead of the April 11 Local Government election amidst uncontrollable crowd that graced the event.
The event held at the stadium in Kankia Local Government Area began with the security agencies in total control but, they were overwhelmed when the candidates began trooping in for the ceremony.

It was also a clash of supporters of different Governorship aspirants to steal the show by trying to outclass one another with chants, music and display of posters.
Even with the arrival of the Governor Aminu Masari at the venue made no difference but, he was able to gain entry in company with party officials who presented flags to the candidates.
With the uncontrollable crowd, no loss of lives or destructions of property was recorded.
