Police in Katsina have arrested a 30-year-old suspected kidnapper and serial rapist, Surajo Dauda for allegedly abducting an 18-year-old housewife, Jamila Auwal for almost 150 days.
Spokesman of the command, Superintendent of Police Gambo Isah said the suspect is from Rijiyar Basai village of Danja Local Government Area of Katsina State while the victim is from Tandama village of the same Local Government Area.

According to Isah, the suspect Dauda during interrogation confessed to have abducted and drugged the housewife.
The suspect also confessed to have locked up the housewife for five months in a room and raped her daily for the 5 months period she was in captivity.
The police image maker further said an investigation is ongoing into the matter.
