The Katsina State government has urged people of the state to keep faith as all security issues faced by the state will soon be a thing of the past.
Special adviser to the governor on security matters, Ibrahim Katsina who stated this after a security meeting held with the administrators of 8 frontline local government areas says, the next stage of disarmament of the bandits will soon commence.
The about 3 hours closed door meeting with the administrators of local government areas affected by the activities of banditry, kidnappings and cattle rustling also had in attendance representatives of heads of security agencies in the state
The governor’s aide also urged the people to continue believing in the government by supporting its programmes and policies and to give adequate and timely information toy security agencies on any perceived threat advising the locals not to collaborate with bandits by been their informants against the government.
