Katsina State Govt links Commissioner’s Killing to “hired Assassins”

Late Commissioner killed by Hired Assassins not Bandits, says Katsina State Government.

The Katsina State Government has officially announced the death of the Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Rabe Nasir saying that he was mowed down by hired assassins and not bandits.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Home Affairs, Abdulkareem Sirika, the late commissioner was killed Thursday, December 9 in his residence at Fatima Shema Housing Estate within the metropolis.

The statement added that, his funeral comes up by 2:00 pm after Friday Prayers at Government Residential Area Mosque.

Sirika therefore prayed that his gentle soul Rest In Peace and that Almighty Allah should make paradise his final abode.

He also prayed that God grants the family the fortitude to bear irreparable loss.

Recall that investigations have begun into the killing of the Commissioner and according to Katsina Police Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba, one arrest has been made in connection to the crime.
