Katsina State Commissioner of Police Idris Dabban says, his command will not join the alleged proposed strike by the police force.

Dabban, through the spokesman of the command, Superintendent Gambo Isah, said the officers and men of the command are pledging their loyalty to the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba.

He added that they are committed to their oath of allegiance, to serve with honour and integrity.

The message, further added that they will never be part of any strike with hashtag: No protest, No Strike, No Mutiny.

The strike allegedly planned by the police was to protest over the non-implementation of the new salary package approved for them.
