Eleven years after the demise of the late President, Umaru Yar’adua, Nigerians in his home state of Katsina, have continued to speak on his leadership qualities.
Some of them, made up mainly of his party men in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gave eulogy, during the annual prayer session, held in his honour, at the party’s headquarters in Katsina.

Among the dignitaries at the prayer session were the State Party Chairman, Salisu Majigiri, the younger sister to the late President, Habibat Yar’adua, as well as some PDP youths groups, led by Hamza Jibiya, among others.

Shortly after the prayers, different speakers took turns to speak on the current state of the nation, the leadership qualities of late President Yar’Adua and what the nation is currently missing in his person.
They also advised the present administration to intensify efforts to regain the public confidence, by ensuring peace and security of all Nigerians.

They faulted the comparison being made in some quarters, about the 16 years of PDP and the 6 years of the present administration.
