The Katsina State Government, has donated a brand new 32 seater bus, to the Katsina United Football Club.
Speaking during the presentation to the club, the Sports Commissioner Sani Danlami who represented his Governor said that , the gesture was in line with the Masari led Administration’s commitment, towards improving the welfare of the players.

The Sports Commissioner said further that the new bus, will assist greatly, in ensuring the timely arrival of the players, during their away games.

While calling for the judicious utilisation of the bus for the purpose it was meant for, Danlami urged the management of the team, to ensure adequate maintenance.

The sports commissioner also promised that the state government will continue to take the player’s welfare seriously, especially the timely payment of their salaries, allowances and match bonuses, among other welfare packages.
Club Chairman, Abdulsamad Badamasi,then expressed gratitude to Governor Aminu Masari and the Sports Commissioner, Sani Danlami, for their usual support.
Katsina United is currently 14th on the table of the Nigeria Professional Football League, after beating Eyimba International 3-1, in their last game, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.
