Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris has told members of his cabinet to be diligent in the discharge of their official responsibilities.
Governor Idris said this while assigning portfolios to 26 new commissioners at Government House, Birnin Kebbi on Friday.
The governor urged them to be fair, just and dedicated to their respective tasks with a view to fast-tracking positive growth and development across the state.
He described the swearing-in as the official take-off of the State Executive Council, emphasized that he will not tolerate laziness from any of them, “hence the need for all of you to brace up to your responsibilities” he said.

Goveror Idris also told the commissioners to work individually and collectively for transformation of the state to what he described as a ‘higher level of development’.
