The Kebbi State Government has launched an investigation into the death of two siblings at the Zuru General Hospital.
Governor Nasir Idris approved the formation of a special committee following allegations that the children died after receiving wrongful injections.
In a statement released Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Yakubu Tafida, the administration expressed its commitment to uncovering the truth behind the tragedy.

The committee is tasked with identifying the immediate and remote causes of the deaths, investigating the allegations of medical malpractice, and naming any individuals directly or indirectly responsible.
Beyond apportioning blame, the panel is expected to recommend measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
The committee has been ordered to begin work immediately and submit its final report within one week.
