Kebbi severance Allowance: Gov. Bagudu Approves Over N556m For LGA Chairmen, Councillors

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved over Five Hundred and Fifty-Six Million Naira for the payment of Severance Gratuity to former Local Government Chairmen and Councillors in
Kebbi State.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hassan Muhammad Shalla in Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday.

The statement indicated that the payments are for all the categories of former local government council chairmen and councillors that served from 2004 to 2021.

The payments are to cover all those who have not been paid, irrespective of political party affiliation.

The statement further directed all the incumbent Executive Chairmen of the 21 Local Government Councils to commence preparations, to effect the payments of the gratuity to the beneficiaries, with immediate effect.
