The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully concluded its ward congress in Kebbi State, North West Nigeria
Following the official party timetable, the exercise was held across all 225 political wards in the State on Wednesday.
Thr party chose the consensus and affirmation mode to elect new leaders for the next 4 years.
The Chairman of the Kebbi State Ward Congress Committee, Abdulmalik Mahmood said consensus was achieved through wide consultations with stakeholders.

He said the party resolved that any executive who has spent 8 years in a particular office, should step aside to allow others to contribute their quota.
Governor Nasir Idris, who also was out to monitor the exercise at venues including the Nasarawa Two and Marafa Ward congresses, expressed satisfaction with the massive turnout. He pledged to work hand-in-hand with the new executives to advance the State’s development
The party claims the process was transparent and orderly in all 225 political wards, setting the stage for the upcoming Local Government congresses scheduled for later this month.
