The Kebbi State National Assembly members have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Argungu Emirate following the recent attack by bandits in Mera village at Augie Local Government.
The delegation was led by Senator Adamu Aliero and Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi.
Others include Major General Aminu Bande, and Sani Yakubu Noma, who represents Argungu/Augie.

During the visit, the lawmakers conveyed their sympathy to the victims and their families, emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced security measures to protect communities from such heinous attacks.
They reiterated their commitment to collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of the people in Kebbi State.

In a show of solidarity and support, the delegation announced a donation of 10 million Naira to assist the families affected by the tragic incident and called for unity among the residents to collectively combat the challenges posed by banditry and violence in the region.
The lawmakers urged the community to remain vigilant and proactive in safeguarding their neighborhoods, stressing that a united front is essential in overcoming the adversities.

They pledged to continue advocating for the necessary resources and support needed to bolster security efforts in Kebbi State.
