Keyamo assures FG will gainfully empowers 774,000 Nigerian youths with jobs

The Minister of State, for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, says the proactive approach of engaging the nation’s youths across the 774 local government areas, is a strategy to facilitate the creation of productive and inclusive societies.

In his message during the Flag off of National Directorate of Employment, NDE, programme in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital, Festus Keyamo said that the 774, 000 jobs at the local government areas, is also aimed at shielding  the most vulnerable from the ravaging effect of hunger, poverty , joblessness amongst others due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule, had commended the federal government for the laudable initiative, aimed at taking the youths off the street, by engaging them in useful ventures.

Governor Sule says he is convinced that the programme will provide the necessary economic palliative to more than 13,000 youths that will be engaged in the state for a period of 3 months.
