The 19 yrs old 300 level Zoology student, Helen Asekun who was abducted on Wednesday night of 3rd May 2020 by gunmen, has regained her freedom.
Helen Asekun,was kidnapped during the COVID-19 lockdown in the state,at the staff quarters of the Federal College of Land Resources Technology located at Kuru community, Jos South Local Government Area.
According to report,she was found around Heipang community, in the neighbouring Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state by family members after the kidnappers abandoned her in the bush.

Confirming the development to AIT.live Spokesman, Plateau State Police Command, Gabriel Ubah did not state whether a ransom was paid or not to secure the release of Helen Asekun.
