Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has approved the redeployment of the Commissioner For Youths and Sports Development, Emmanuel Umar, to oversee the affairs of the Ministry For Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, temporarily.
This is one of the requests, presented before the Niger State Governor Abubakar Bello, in a petition by the forty-six contestants, seeking selection, as the seventh Sarkin Sudan of Kwantagora.
According to a statement by the Secretary to Niger State Government, Ahmad Matane, the swapping of the Ministries by the Commissioners is to ensure that due process is strictly followed, in the selection of the new Sarkin Sudan of Kwantagora.

The statement directed that the Commissioner For Youths and Sports Development, Emmanuel Umar, should oversee the affairs of Ministry For Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, while the Commissioner For Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdul-Malik Sarkin Daji, will oversee the affairs of Ministry For Youths and Sports Development.
