Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of Justice H.A.Olusiyi as the acting State Chief Judge.
Chief Press Secretary to The Governor, Onogwu Muhammed who made the announcement also stated that the governor has approved the appointment of Justice Bayo Olowosegun as the president of the state customary court of appeal.

Both appointments are for a period of 3 months. The appointments followed the deaths of Justices Nasiru Ajana and Shaibu Atadoga respectively.
