The Kogi State Government has confirmed the kidnap of nine Students at the Confluence University of Science and Technology, (CUSTECH) Osara.
The Kogi State Commissioner for information and Communication Hon. Kingsley Fanwo confirmed the incident during an interview with
our correspondent in Lokoja on Friday.
Fanwo disclosed that over 400 security operatives comprising local hunters, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, (NSCDC) have been deployed to the bush to the rescue the kidnapped victims.

According to the Commissioner, the Kidnapped victims will be rescued unhurt from their abductors.
He commended the gallant efforts of local vigilantes and hunters who engaged the bandits in a gun duel to reduce the casualties in the institution.
It could be recalled that bandits invaded CUSTECH Osara on Thursday night kidnapping scores of students to an unknown destination.
