Kogi State government has called on citizens of the state to take advantage of its massive investment in the health sector and enroll in the state’s health insurance scheme to access quality and affordable healthcare services.
Speaking during the inspection of an ultra modern hospital in Gegu Beki, Koton Karfe Local Government of Kogi State, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello noted that his major priority is to end medical tourism by citizens and Nigerians by extension.
The Governor encouraged citizens of the state to take advantage of his administration’s investment in the health sector and enroll into the state’s health insurance scheme aimed at making healthcare delivery affordable and accessible.

The Chief Executive of the confluence State said he was impressed by the quality of projects executed by the state’s indigenous contractors.
Senator representing Kogi East, Isah Jibrin Echocho who was on the inspection team, commended the governor for his investment, which he said will outlive him.
The Gegu Beki ultra modern general hospital is tastefully equipped with hi-tech medical equipment, well furnished staff quarters among other services to be enjoyed when operational.
