Succour came the way of over ten thousand widows of Odu Ogboyaga and neighbouring communities in the Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, as a free medical outreach impacts the lives of indigenes of the area.
The exercise provided free medical consultation, surgeries, and medication to residents who lack access to quality healthcare.
The plight of widows and residents of rural communities is well documented in Nigeria and beyond.
But respite came the way of the vulnerable as the Jennifer Etuh Foundation, in conjunction with Pro-Health International Africa, delivered a helping hand to the needy.
Most of the beneficiaries are elderly persons, pregnant women, and children, some of whom confessed it was their first time receiving comprehensive medical attention.
They urged other good-spirited individuals to emulate the good work of the outreach.
