The Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the November 11 Kogi State Governorship Election Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has called on Kogi State Government to deploy all state Security apparatus at her disposal to secure the harmless return of the students to their parents and loved ones.
Ajaka made the call while Condemning the invasion and abduction of some Students by suspected kidnappers from the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State.
In a statement signed by the Director New Media for the Muri and Sam Campaign Organization Isaiah Ijele, said it is heartbreaking that some students who were gathered for tutorials ahead of their First Semester Examinations scheduled to commence on Monday, the 13th of May, 2024 could be abducted in such inhumane and unfair manner.

Ajaka in the statement said It is important for the state government under Usman Ododo to prioritize the safe return of the students and enhance security in the state and the University.
Meanwhile, the state government has confirmed the abduction of nine students of the Confluence University Of Science and Technology Osara Kogi state.
