Residents of Imane community in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State have commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, for the large release of its voter cards and the orderly process of distribution.
Those who spoke to ait.live said the distribution was hitch-free following organizational support provided by community leaders and political parties.
Unlike the uncontrollable crowd being witnessed in some wards at the PVC collection centers in Kogi State, leaving some registrants stranded in the hands of limited INEC staff, the case is different here in Imane ward one.

This ward which is said to have the largest number of registrants in Olamaboro Local Government Area, made the PVC distribution process seamless through a community-based arrangement which limits collection per day to polling units within the ward.
Gabaidu Sani is a contestant for the position of House of Assembly in one of the political parties in the coming election, he said it will be irrational for any reasonable person to sell his or her PVC after collection.
While other wards are battling with the problem of crowd management and distribution of the voter cards, INEC officials in this community are having it all good due to the mutual understanding between community leaders and political parties to organize themselves to make the process less cumbersome.
