He said latest onslaught against the state and the people have been unfortunate.

Fanwo in a press statement made available to journalists said the government stands with the families that lost their loved ones and breadwinners to the cowards in the garb of criminals.

He assured that they are doing everything a responsible Government should do to ensure security of lives and property .

He sympathizes with the armed forces for the personnel lost to the men of the underworld saying that this will not bend their resolve to make Kogi State a hard place for criminals to perpetrate their heinous crimes.

He advised against rumour mongering that could drive fears into the people.

The Commissioner said the administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello will change the narrative in a couple of days.
High level security plans and strategies have been put in place to re-appraise the situation and devise new security architecture to address the ugly trend

He confirmed that the Government is with the people and the roads are safe as security personnel have been deployed to handle the emerging threats and for effective intelligence gathering to ensure people are safe while travelling on kogi roads.
