The newly deployed Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,(NSCDC) Bala Bawa Bodinga, has pledged to deploy all available logistics and operational resources to strengthen the protection of lives and property across the state.
Commandant Bodinga made the commitment at the Corps’ Command Headquarters in Ilorin the Kwara State capital during his maiden media briefing, where he outlined fresh strategies aimed at reinforcing security and safeguarding critical national assets in the State.
Bodinga announced that NSCDC operatives will now provide enhanced security coverage at mosques on Fridays and churches on Sundays to ensure worshippers carry out their religious obligations in a safe and secure environment.

The Commandant further assured that personnel under his leadership will undergo continuous training and retraining to boost operational efficiency and align with global best practices in security management.
The NSCDC has played a pivotal role in maintaining peace and protecting public infrastructure in Kwara State, a legacy Commandant Bodinga says he is fully committed to sustaining and strengthening.
