Kwara Police uncover two decomposed female bodies in CMD’s Office

The Kwara State Police Command has uncovered discomposed bodies of two missing ladies allegedly concealed in the office of the Chief Medical director of Kaiama General Hospital, Dr Adio Adebowale in Kaiama local government area of Kwara State.

This is contained in a press release made available to Journalists in Ilorin the State capital by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, (PPRO), Ajayi Okasanmi.

According to the press statement, body of an unidentified female was buried inside the doctor’s office in a shallow concrete grave while decomposed body of another female, identified as Nofisat Halidu, who had earlier been declared missing was kept in a trash can inside the same doctor’s office.

Ajayi said two female hand bags, pants and handsets were also recovered from the doctor’s drawer inside his office that was forced open.

The police said the doctor is currently in detention in Edo state police command where he was arrested and confessed to have killed his girlfriend, one Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in 2021 in Tanke area of Ilorin.

The suspect allegedly dumped the victim’ s body in a bush in Alapa in the Asa local government area of Kwara state.

Meanwhile, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama had contacted the Edo State Police Command requesting for the release of the suspect to the Kwara State Police Command for interrogation.

Odama however warns that Kwara state would not tolerate criminals and lawless citizens in his time as commissioner of police.
