Opposition Party, Labour Party has called on Nigerians to take the Christmas celebration as a season to love, serve and forgive one another.
The National Chairman of the Party, Julius Abure in his message to Nigerians and party members said Christmas is a season of love and forgiveness.
Abure urged them to always show compassion to people particularly those living below the poverty level.
He said that Jesus Christ who was born in a lowly manger lived his entire life working to put smiles in the face of the less privileged, the poor and the sick.
According to him, not many homes in Nigeria can afford to join in today’s celebration of Christmas because of the current economic situations in the country.
