The Labour Party, LP, has withdrawn from the ongoing INEC collation of presidential election results at the International Conference centre Abuja
Director General of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Akin Osuntokun says its decision is in protest of the breach of the electoral guideline by the electoral umpire.
Briefing journalists in Abuja on Monday evening, Osuntokun along with other top members of the campaign council also disagreed with the margin of victory reported in Lagos state, saying it falls far below what the party documented despite the Labour Party beating the All Progressives Congress, APC, in their stronghold.

The council challenged the international observers to walk the talk in speaking against the current act by INEC.
While absolving itself from any reaction that may trail the results being announced, the Obi-Datti presidential campaign council advised citizens to remain calm and avoid embarking on any protest in any part of the country.
